Consider This before Your Next Car Purchase In California.

This past August 2022 the California air resources board voted to require all new cars and light trucks sold in 2035 and beyond to be Zero-Emissions vehicles. According to a new LA Times article the new rules mandate 35% of new cars must be zero emission by 2026, 68% by 2030, and 100% by 2035. So what that means for you is that as we near the deadline it’s a smart move to consider a new electric vehicle as were far enough away there’s still statewide and Federal tax rebates incentive available but those may lessen as we get closer to 2035.
